Standard answer scales

1. Always remember that appropriate scales appear in a logical order (i.e. not randomized). 
2. Always keep your answer options balanced
3. If a question is measuring sentiment, always use an equal number of positive and negative answer options. 

Agreement Scale: 

• Strongly agree 
• Somewhat agree 
• Neither agree nor disagree 
• Somewhat disagree 
• Strongly disagree 

Frequency Scale: 

Avoid overlapping scales, keep it balance and continuous. 

• Once a week 
• Once every 2 weeks 
• Once a month 
• Once ever 2 to 3 months 

Sentiment Scale: 

• Very positive 
• Somewhat positive 
• Neutral 
• Somewhat negative 
• Very negative
